Steve Flowers is currently an independent financial consultant specializing in financial management and strategic planning for small businesses at CFO Services of Pennsylvania.

Steve has been in a variety of financial positions at both large and small companies. He was a Finance director for CIGNA Corporation and acted as their internal banker. At CIGNA, he worked with the company’s distribution network (insurance agents and brokers), evaluating their financial condition and negotiating loans with them for mergers and acquisitions. Steve then joined Automated Financial Systems in Exton, PA (a banking software and consulting firm) as CFO and was responsible for all financial aspects of the firm. After AFS, Steve joined SAS Institute as a financial consultant and worked with Fortune 500 companies in the areas of financial business intelligence and the application of technology to the strategic planning function. A serial entrepreneur, Steve has established and run four small businesses over the years.

Steve lives in Spring City PA with his wife and son. He is currently refurbishing a 200 year old farmhouse and enjoys fly fishing and poker.
